'The hotel was beautiful, but we called four times to ensure we had adjoining rooms, just to arrive and not have adjoining rooms. We were looking forward to trying out the best, which was closed. Sitting out in the bar area and sharing some cocktails-closed. To follow it up, the Starbucks in the lobby was closed the next morning and there was no coffee in the lobby. Hotel staff told me we could go across the street (through construction) to the gas station for coffee. When we complained the next...

'I HAVE STAYED HERE MANY TIMES. THIS TIME WAS GOOD. THE BREAKFAST WAS A LITTLE IMPROVED. THE STAFF WERE FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL. MY ONLY COMPLAINTS WERE THE BED SQUEAKED IN ROOM 106, THE BATHTUB WATER WAS CLOGGED AND THE WATER DRAINED SLOWLY AND THE SOAP DISPENSER WAS EMPTY. FEEL SOMEONE IS NOT DOING THEIR JOB. I STILL WOULD RETURN BECAUSE IT IS VERY DOG FRIENDLY AND STILL VERY COMFORTABLE. WE WERE IN A KING SIZE EXECUTIVE SUITE WHICH HAS 2 TV AND A SOFA BED. VERY ROOMY. I WILL BE BACK!'

'We wanted a night away, last second and found The Charles. We stayed in room 100,little private cottage and it was exactly what we wanted. Well decorated,clean,quiet, private,centrally located.....Breakfast was delicious and the host was wonderful! Only suggestion I have is get a maintenance guy in there to tighten the faucets. We would definitely come back next time we're in town.'
