'We were utterly charmed and pleased with our stay at the Sacandaga Lake House, and loved every minute we were there. We skied at Lapland Nordic Ski Center every day, a 30 minute easy drive north up Rt. 30, and looked forward to our return to the house to enjoy the amazing hot tub and great fireplace. 'Pros: Valerie is a kind host, and the property is in one of the most beautiful areas I have ever stayed. Cons: There is one shared bathroom on the first floor. There is no bathroom in the room, or the one next door which I saw when I found out that the dividing door was not locked. The pillows did not have liners in the pillow cases and were stained so we did not use them. The sheets had other people's hair on them, so we didn't use the cover sheets or blankets. 'Room was great! Employees were very accommodating. We had a photo shoot in the lobby and invited the registration lady to join in! The bar was great after dinner. Would definitely stay again!'
