« The property was in an extremely convenient location. The property was clean and cozy. The back yard made it really easy for our pets. The property owners are very responsive. I appreciated the binder with restaurant and other locations to visit such as the Creek House Honey Farm and the Lumber Yard. »

« The overall property is very nice and peaceful. We loved having a fully fenced area for the dogs. Definitely a unique and historic property. The only issue I had was the height of the composting toilet. For me, it was a big step up and down, and I felt unsteady using it in the middle of the night. It would be nice to have a grab bar or something to help stabilize older people (like me). »

« Incredibly peaceful, beautiful location. Definitely spartan accommodations so bring what you need aside from towels, bedding, and very basic kitchen utensils. The donkeys make this place! They are very friendly, especially big brown Jasper. My son was in love by the time we left. Highly recommend if you're game for a rustic and unique experience! »

« Everything as described. Beautiful cabin not far from town. We have stayed before and will stay again. »

« Home was very clean, well decorated and welcoming. The location was great for getting to downtown Golden and freeways, but traffic noise somewhat spoiled relaxing on the front deck. We did enjoy the lovely kitchen and all the great windows. One bed was soft and the other firm, so we had choices. »

« This was the perfect house for our stay! We were passing through town and wanted a centrally located place close to Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak — and this home was absolutely ideal.From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with freshly baked cookies and beautiful fresh flowers throughout the home — such a thoughtful touch!
