Very clean with everything you need: kitchen, bed, washer and dryer etc. The family is very kind and super sweet, love that it is also pet friendly. The neighborhood is lovely to walk through and close to a grocery store, which was perfect for me.

Comfortable futon, parking on pad made the stay easy as there is limited street parking. Quiet location for our stay of two nights and more ventilation would be nice but realize you can only do so much.

The communication from the host was excellent and the suite was wonderful. I only stayed one night, but this would be great for a more lengthy stay. It was very comfortable and I would highly recommend.

Thelma was very kind and accommodating. The suite had everything we needed for our stay and more.

The host was very communicative and responsive, which I especially appreciated as this was my first experience staying in this type of rental. The neighbourhood felt very safe, and I was completely comfortable walking my dog in the area. I did feel there were a few areas where the accommodations could use some improvement. I personally found the bed uncomfortable, and the bedding consisted of a comforter without a top sheet. The pillows were quite thin and flat, although doubling them up helped. The caulking in the bathroom could also use some attention. On a very positive note, I was travelling with a rescue dog who was extremely stressed as she adjusted to a major change in her life. She had a few episodes of barking, and I was grateful for the host’s apparent patience and understanding, particularly since they live upstairs. That consideration meant a great deal to me. Overall, I appreciated the communication, the safe neighbourhood, and the pet-friendly atmosphere. With a few improvements to the comfort and maintenance of the space, I think this could be an even better experience for future guests.

Very responsive and friendly! This was perfect for myself and a friend while we were in town for a wedding. Pictures provide an accurate picture of the suite. I would definitely stay again if I’m in town as it was cost friendly and larger than any hotel room.

I will start off by saying the hosts were very attentive, answered quickly, good communication. Upon getting to suite, sidewalk was completely covered in ice(after asking they spread a bit of salt, still icy).basement suite was cold but after I messaged they turned the heat up. Suite was not as clean as I would expect,rugs could use some attention, blackish substance in bathroom tiles, furniture was old and worn. standard coffee maker there but only k-cups for coffee. Very basic amenities. Absolutely needs a good clean and some updates. Decent Value for the price paid and the fact it is pet friendly, I can’t complain too much. Depends what you’re after.
