« The basic stuff was great. Check in was easy. Great area. We picked this cottage as it was close to several things we wanted to do. It is right across the street from the Railroad Museum which is awesome. Bring everything you think you might need. A few simple things would make this place a five. « This place was awesome, romantic, clean and beautifully appointed! We stayed 10/25/25. We would definitely glamp there again. The site is along-side a cleared field and in a very peaceful farm country setting but set privately in the woods. Not far from Freeport and Bath, but away from everything. « Please listen closely!! If you pass this place up, I truly feel sorry for you. I am on a first time adventure to Maine from Indiana and this is my FAVORITE place stay of ALL TIME. I wish I had done my homework and planned more time at Desert of Maine. Our cabin was cozy after a nice evening by the fire. Loved the shower!! « We didn’t get enough time to evaluate but from the short visit, we can say that this is the small paradise within the Main area. Best camp ground facilities we have ever seen or experienced. Looking forward to visit with friends and extended families as well. »

« The location was a 10 minute drive from Boothbay and the rooms were newly renovated and very cute. But some of the furniture was coming apart during normal use. Biggest concerns were as follows:1. Very poor communication from host. They didn't provide us with entry information until the morning of, and didn't answer our messages.
