« For a UP property very nice. It’s in the process of being updated and pool area and outdoor areas still haven’t been done. That said when we asked for the porch facing the lake to be cleaned of bugs it was done promptly. Only other negative was water pressure and I didn’t like the ultra fragrant liquid soaps. But I asked in lobby for a bar and was given my choice of normal soaps. Super nice staff and Bigby coffee in lobby was a plus And onsite restaurant was very good. »

« Comfy beds, pleasant staff, nice roomy room. Clean bathroom, with shampoo, conditioner and body lotion - great smelling. Nice breakfast too. We stayed on a Sunday night and arrived late, which made dining options few. If staying in Escanaba, which is a smaller town, be aware when arriving late on a Sunday. Nice size pool, but we didn't swim. Overall, everything was great. »

« Pauline the owner was very accommodating. The place was clean, and off the beaten trail, so very quiet. We will be back. Only thing I would add is a grill for our stay. There was a dish washer to use, which was great. And wood there for a fire. Bonus! »

"The place is quiet, clean, spacious, well equipped. We only stayed a couple of days but really enjoyed Marcus's place! Lively wildlife around!"
