'Nice stay, soft bed, cool, could use a hand towel hanger, bigger fridge where there was room for things. Fast email service from Gastehaus on everything. You can literally step out of your room, and walk through parking lot of Lutheran Church and your close to Baron Antiques, not far to Aldorf, Hondo's, Antique Mall and West End Restaurant. Could use a tray or table by pedestal sink, a beautiful bouquet of flowers on table in living, had coffee. Lock is backwards on door. Air muffles Main Street...

'Great place to stay! Close enough to downtown, and yet out in the country.'

'We have stayed at Eli's (and other Austin Street Retreat cottages) numerous times over the past 30 years). While normally very good, this stay was by far the most uncomfortable. The HVAC system was unbelievably loud and kept us up all night while it cycled on and off. Y'all should try insulating the area around the equipment. We won't be back, which is sad since we were married in Eli's 30 years ago.'
