'If you're looking for a peaceful, rustic, and a good place to star gaze this is it for sure. Nice place for a weekend getaway/small wedding venue. Breakfast and dinner options on Fridays and Saturdays only but food was excellent when served. There are refrigerators and microwaves in the rooms so not a problem if staying for more than a few days. Bar also open on the weekends only. It's a cat sanctuary (they have about 16 cats on the property, all outdoor cats) so if you're allergic to cats...

'This place was outstanding. The room was amazing. Spacious. Clean. Well appointed. It made me feel at home. The pool area was exactly what I needed after a long day of travel. I sat with my feet in the pool and listened to the waterfall For over an hour. The section to the left of the pool had a huge fireplace and there was a couple listening to music and enjoying the fire. There was a section to the right of the pool, which was in front of my room, where 2 women were sitting at a Table,...

'The room was so inviting and charming. We loved the layout and the bed was very comfy with luxury linens. The staff was very gracious and accommodating. It was off the main street enough to be quiet but close enough to walk to shopping and eating very quickly. Great parking.'

'I don’t mind older hotels and don’t need luxury or fancy stuff but I do like my room clean and that just wasn’t the case here. There were stains on the sheets, the floor was greasy and the bath tub was so worn down I really dreaded taking a shower. We decided not to stay and booked a room across the street; best decision for us. Lady at reception was very friendly though, there sure is potential to make this a nice place to stay but the current state just wasn’t ok for us..'
