« Room was spotless and cleaned every day. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly and professional. The building itself was absolutely stunning with bags of character. The spa was simple but clean and beautifully kept with fantastic staff who put us at ease while we were there. I was particularly impressed with the lovely changing area. Nous avons réservé cet hôtel principalement pour ça et malgré un hôtel annoncé family friendly, nous apprenons en arrivant à 17:30 que les enfants sont interdits à partir de 18:00 (ils ont même semblé hésité à nous laisser entrer et sont venus avant 18h dire qu'il fallait sortir) mais qu'ils y ont de nouveau accès de 8 à 10 le matin, en plein sur le créneau du petit déjeuner. « L'hôtel est en bord de route mais la chambre donnait sur l'arrivée (vue sur un champ de blé), donc calme. Nous avons pris le repas du soir et le petit-déjeuner : tres bon rapport qualité-prix. Le seul point negatif reste la vétusté de la salle de bain. Nous avons été accueillis avec le sourire. Je recommande. »

« Handy location to Durham and countryside. Clean cozy and friendly clear communications. Nice touch to have some supplies available on arrival. Felt unclear where to park as other locals parked up but I’m sure it would have been clear should I have asked. »

« Found a room on the Hotels.com app but stopped by the hotel to check it out before booking. The front desk initially said no rooms were available, despite the app showing otherwise. After some persistence and a 10–15 minute discussion involving another staff member, I was shown a room I liked. Due to system issues, I was told to book through the app. I did so, paid, and received confirmation, which the clerk also saw—but they still couldn’t assign the room due to aforementioned system issue. « Très bon rapport qualité-prix. L’hôtel offre une grande flexibilité pour l’installation, même en cas d’arrivée tardive, ce qui est très appréciable. La chambre était propre, le lit spacieux et confortable, parfait pour passer une bonne nuit. Pour le tarif proposé, la prestation est vraiment satisfaisante et répond pleinement aux attentes. »

« Chambre cosy dans un quartier calme. Petit déjeuner inclus et copieux. Personnel très agréable. Seul bémol : l'hôtel est est assez excentré. A pieds, il faut un bon quart d'heure de grimpette pour y aller. Restaurant indien juste à côté. »

« Le personnel était toujours à l'écoute. Après notre première nuit nous avons demandé à changer de chambre pour notre convenance personnelle, et cela a été fait. A notre départ nous avions oublié quelque chose dans notre chambre, et un membre du personnel a couru à notre voiture pour nous le remettre! Seule remarque négative : un panneau sur la route nationale aurait été utile pour trouver l'hôtel plus facilement. »
