'No advance warning from reception or in the room guide that there is no dinner service on Sunday nights. Without a car (my case) a very real problem and only after serious complaint from myself (80) and friend (91) were cheese sandwiches made (and charged). Rooms on the road are appallingly noisy due to heavy traffic if one needs to sleep with an open window. The fire alarm went off at 5.00 am requiring evacuation due to "a moth" and it is not the first time this has happened recently. No...

'Pleasant stay. Clean room. A not too loud alarm did disturb our sleep a little but it must have been nothing untoward? - fire regulations said to wait in bedroom until otherwise advised... fortunately no such advice was forthcoming!'

'What a beautiful inn. It’s quiet and the staff are all very friendly. I stayed there one night and chose it because of its proximity to Kynren. It was about a 15 minute drive from their car park. So convenient! Especially when you’re getting out of the show at 11 o’clock at night. Their breakfast in the morning had lots of options, both hot and cold. I wish I could’ve stayed longer in the area.'

'It s not 4,5 stars the staf is friendly but the hotel is old. Also the rooms look old. The bed was great but you must shower in the bath. It is a old building and that is what you see in the maintenance'
