'We stayed May 30 -June 5, 2026This place is definitely quaint. Although we mainly just used it for sleeping, preparing some meals, & the occasional regroup. I did message the host prior to arriving, but after a week had not heard back so I contacted VRBO support, that made me feel a little uneasy... but all worked out.On cleanliness: when we walked in it smelled clean & fresh & looked clean. Some notices though: the windows were not clean. The outside areas of the cabin didn't look like it...

'Great cabin and compliments to the handyman who made this out of a number of containers. Inside all is available, perfect beds, big TV, a lot of space and very clean. Beautiful view over the mountains in an environment that is perfect for hikers with a lot of very nice trails. My wife enjoyed the jacuzzi a lot. 'Lumber Lodge is the perfect place for a get a way in RRG. Convenient to everything. Very clean. WiFi was great because service in the gorge is spotty. Lots of towels!! Porch overlooking woods a wonderful place to relax after hiking. Would definitely come again.'
