'I stayed in three different Queensland hotels on this trip, and The Pink Hotel was my absolute favorite. Across the road from Coolangatta Beach, restaurants, ezy mart almost next door. A great pub close by. The room was so beautiful and comfortable and the staff were lovely. They have a menu for breakfast which is delivered to your room and has gf options. We saw whales and dolphins right off the beach at sunset. Could not love this place more, will be back.'

'This resort was nice and has great potential but unfortunately it hasn’t been maintained as well as it should have been over the years.
The silicone in the shower was full of mould and the tv was so outdated we couldn’t even watch a movie.
The only food available during the day was a toastie or a pizza made by the bar staff. The girl in charge of the bar seemed scattered and like she was off with the fairies. Service was slow even though it was extremely quiet and there wasn’t usually more...

'Yes it must have been a challenge to fuse circa 1931 architecture with modern demands for private bathrooms and comforts...but...having no place to sit on a chair with a small tablely-type-thingy is an issue. The irony is that there is a small hob (prob not connected, didn't try) with no cooking equipment. I doubt that it's even legal to cook in the rooms anyway.
