'It's an old traditional Japanse Ryokan. The owners are super sweet and friendly people. They speak verry little english but it all worked out. We stayed for 2 nights including breakfast. The son picked us up from the train station (we told him we would walk from the station to the Ryokan but he was there anyway, so nice!!) and the next day he drove us to the snow monkey park. There is an small onsen in the hotel (which is also the bathroom) Beware the onsen is SUPER hot! You can use it privat....

'This is a great hotel—very clean and well maintained. The room is quite spacious for two people and has everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Amenities are available at the lobby for guests to take, which is very convenient. The hotel is also thoughtful to provide pajamas for guests to use during their stay. 'We used this hotel as a couple. Rooms are fine; we stayed on 15th floor, and rooms on floor 13-14-15 seem to be bigger than the lower floors. We did not use the breakfast buffet, since there are plenty of breakfast places around, both local ones as international ones. Can recommend this hotel to others.'

'Prima hotel, naast het station, voor een kort verblijf in Nagano. Kamers zijn Japanse grootte. Mensen zeer vriendelijk. 30 min lopen en 10 min met de bus van de prachtige Zenkoji tempel.'
