'Highly recommend to stay at Cromwell’s Tap House. It’s located in the heart of Shrewsbury, at walking distance of pretty much everything in town. Only 7 minutes from the train station. The rooms were located on the first floor above the pub. We heard no noise whatsoever, and only in the morning we heard some cars go by, but it was of no nuisance to us. We have been traveling around the Uk but that was the best inn we have been to
The food is great, breakfast is very rich and the hospitality is fantastic

'Although the hotel facilities were good and the location was very central, our room was above the bar which was a club on Saturday night. The music was really loud till midnight. Although the web site mentioned that they had a DJ, we hadn't expected to be right above it.'

'Great little find here! Lovely pub with great atmosphere, food fab with onsite restaurant. The room was really well presented and lovely decor. My room was facing south and west on the hottest day of the year, thankfully the staff provided a fan and there was a well stocked fridge in the room too. Breakfast was continental style in the room in a lovely hamper, plus yogurts, milk and orange juice in the fridge. Would go back again when in the area. Thanks team.'
