    Location was good - close to tram spots and food. Couple of miles from Old Town. The mattress in the master was not very comfortable, but the other two beds were good. Be aware that parking, although free, is a mile away from the property.

    When we walked into this property we were excited at the unique elegance of the interior of this flat. It was ideally located near reataurants and pubs to enjoy. We also used the tram (5 pounds per person per day for unlimited trips) which allowed us to get to Old town Edinburgh in 3 wtops to St. Andrew square. We really enjoyed our stay and the location is great.

    Quirky but good stay

    The location was fine with cafes and stores nearby, however I can’t imagine why it was voted 4th best neighborhood in the world. The flat was clean and spacious. One of the king size beds was very hard and not comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Parking was a 10 min walk away so not super convenient.

    Wedding trip

    Family stayed for daughter’s wedding Ideal location as close to her flat. All good with flat apart from hot water tap in bathroom which requires some attention. We were not confident leaving car at Swanfield so made another arrangement. Might be better to advise guests to make their own arrangements. Otherwise an excellent place to stay for a larger group.

    Lovely Accommodation

    Can’t fault the accommodation. Spacious, well resourced and ideal location. Parking was an issue as not outside property, but a 5 minute drive away to a trading estate where I just had to leave the car and hope for the best! Communication not great. Had no idea about parking until after we’d arrived and unloaded so could potentially have got a ticket. And still waiting for a response for another issue but we’re back home!

    It is a beautiful property with all the amenities you could need and even some toiletries! A few instructions for appliances would have been helpful but not a problem. Great location and some lovely places to eat in Leith as well. And beautiful brunch in urban jungle and tapas meal in la casa. Would recommend staying here

    Amazing property in perfect location

    Perfect for a group of 5 friends. Leith is a gorgeous part of the city with loads of great places to eat, drink and shop. The location of the apartment was great for trips to Edinburgh

    Perfect location for an unhappy occasion

    This was the perfect place for our group of 8 on the unhappy occasion of a family funeral. The family grew up just one street over, were my in-laws spent over 60 years of their lives together before moving away to the west coast 4 years ago. The neighborhood brought back all the nostalia for my husband and his siblings and especially my mother-in-law. It was great walking through the neighborhood and visiting some of the same shops and restaurants they had visited as children & teens. The flat itself was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. I couldn't believe how spacious it was, it slept all 8 of us comfortably with the 2 pull-out/trundle beds and having 2 showers made getting ready for the funeral in the morning very easy. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to have a couple family meals. Overnight street parking right in front was free from 530pm to 830am, Free daytime parking at the hosts warehouse was available within a short walk. I was weary at first as this was our first time using a VRBO rental and there was a couple of negative reviews but after reading the negatives, I realized that it was most likely people who are unfamiliar with the area and/or Scotland in general because the complaints were about things I find to be pretty standard in Scotland (as an American who has visited often due to visiting family). shower controls are different, older buildings are not always handicap accesible, the city can be noisy and there is usually graffiti.

    Plenty of room for 4 adults. Appointed well. Great neighborhood with lots to see and easy walking to Shore, trams etc. easy check in adequate parking.

    Everything was just perfect, beautiful apartment for a long weekend stay in Edinburgh, everything in the apartment was to a very high spec, also minutes from the tram for a very short journey to central edinburgh and very short journey to the pub, restaurants in leith definitely be back again

    Schöne Wohnung, gute Lage, aber leider eine falsche Beschreibung der Parksituation!

    Wohnung und Lage sind ideal um Edinburgh zu erkunden: 20 Minuten Fußweg bis zur Princes Street, 5 mit der Tram oder dem Bus; Tagestickett oder Einzelfahrt, alles direkt vor der HaustĂŒr! Sauberkeit und Ausstattung sind auch gut! Das große ABER bezieht sich auf die Beschreibung der Parkmöglichkeiten: hier sind steht:“ Parking on site“ und das bedeutet eigentlich direkt am Haus! Ist allerdings gelogen, denn wir bekamen Tags zuvor eine Mail mit einer Adresse 15 Gehminuten entfernt zu parken! Was aber der eigentliche Hammer ist, das es sich um ein unbewachtes Industriegebiet handelt , wo 3 „Anlieger“ uns unabhĂ€ngig voneinander abgeraten haben zu parken „overnight“ weil einerseits nicht ausgeschlossen sei, das das Fahrzeug NICHT aufgebrochen werde, andererseits die Unversehrtheit des Fahrzeuges aufgrund des Lieferverkehres auch nicht gewĂ€hrleistet werden kann! Hier sollte FeWo-direkt bitte reagieren und diese offensichtliche TĂ€uschung herausnehmen lassen! Daher der massive Abzug bei den Sternen, denn wer schon mal in Edinburgh gewesen ist im Festivalmonat, der wird uns verstehen können!

    Overall, a very clean and well centred place. It was east to get to city centre by tram or buses. My only regret was one toilet apar frim that it was beautiful l, clean and very spacious. Would definitely return to the property 👌.

    We had a party of 6 (my husband, myself, our 3 kids 15, 19, & 21, and my elderly mom). There was no sleeper sofa available so one of my kids had to sleep on the couch. Temperature inside was not comfortable, we had to use fans because windows won't open. Very dirty outside around the grounds. Listing was t accurate either.

    Good location for exploring Edinburgh

    We enjoyed our stay at this lovely apartment. The apartment was convenient and in walking distance of sights we wanted to see. Although there was parking provided, we chose not to use it due to the location and returned our rental car early - would recommend no car if possible during your stay.

    Loved Edinburgh!

    Really great location and beautiful, clean home. We walked to old town everyday (the tram is right outside if that’s your preference) - it’s only about a mile away. Lots of yummy restaurants and friendly people!
