DESCRIPTION OF THE APARTMENT

You enter into the bright and spacious hallway which provides access to all the living accommodation. The lounge has corner sofa, SMART 42 inch TV and DVD ,coffee table and access to balcony which has pleasant open views. The separate well equipped dining-kitchen has modern wall mounted units there is an integrated oven, hob, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, cutlery, crockery, etc. and large dining table with 4 chairs.
Master bedroom has hotel style zip and link beds so can be make up with 2 single beds or a SUPER KING-SIZE bed, fitted large wardrobe and an en-suite shower room.
Second bedroom has hotel style zip and link beds so can be make up with 2 single beds or a SUPER KING-SIZE bed also benefits from large built in wardrobe.
The main bathroom has a fresh white three piece suite. The development enjoys extensive landscaped communal grounds.

LOCATION

The apartment is located in the popular Brunswick area of Edinburgh, which lies to the east of the City Centre.

The property is well positioned to take advantage of superb range of local shopping and a cosmopolitan selection of cafes, bars, cinemas, theatres and restaurants in Easter Road, Leith Walk and Princes Street.

Leisure wise the choice exceptional, as one would indeed expect from a major international city.

Edinburgh's historic Old and New Town are easily accessed as a Queen's Park, Arthur's Seat, Scottish Parliament and the beautiful open spaces Holyrood Park. Perhaps the most noteworthy are the impressive Edinburgh Castle, Vue multi screen cinema Omni Centre, Playhouse Theatre as well as Harvey Nichols, luxury shopping in Multrees Walk and the St.James Quarter. The cosmopolitan Leith's Shore District offers an array of bistros and restaurants, with the Ocean Terminal Shopping Complex providing a number of High Street named stores, where you can also get on board famous Royal Yacht Britannia. Around three miles from the apartment there is Portobello Beach it is a suburb of Edinburgh with a promenade fronting on to the wide sand beach.

PARKING DETAILS FROM 31 MARCH 2025

LIMITED Free parking in underground cark park(Underground car park is under a different building across the street.) and LIMITED parking in residential outside car park is available for our guests. The parking working on first come first serve base and other area with free parking is about 200 meters from the apartment.
There are also parking spaces with charges apply between 8;30am-5;30pm Monday-Friday. Avoid PERMIT ONLY.

GETTING AROUND BY BUS AND TAXI

The way to get to the apartment from Edinburgh Airport is take a tram (ticket costs £5 per person) to tram stop-Mcdonald Road then walk few minutes.
Or you can ask how much will be taxi/uber from the airport to the apartment because it could be the same price (around £30)as tram tickets especially when is few of you.

Taxi/uber from the apartment to Edinburgh airport cost about £30.
Taxi from apartment to Waverley Train Station, Royal Mile and Princes St. cost about £7.
Or you can walk about 10-15 minutes to Waverley Train Station, Royal Mile in Old Town Princes St. in New Town.

There are a number of local bus services that go near the apartment from Easter Road bus 35 and 1.

Bus no.35 will take you in minutes to Scottish Parliament, The Royal Residence at Holyrood Palace, the Royal Mile, National Museum of Scotland, Old Town and opposite direction Ocean terminal down to Leith.
Bus no.1 will take you in minutes to Princes Street, West End and New Town.
From London Road bus no.26 will take you in 20 minutes to Edinburgh Zoo or opposite direction to Portobello Beach( Edinburgh's seaside ).

A few days in Edinburgh

Apartment was very clean, comfortable and spacious. We were met by the owner who took us through what we needed to know which was great. Able to walk into central Edinburgh within 35-40 minutes which is a bonus. Overall very good and would recommend staying here when you visit Edinburgh.

Wonderful Place

We loved this apartment! It was perfectly suited for 3 adults. It had everything we needed, and things we didn't know we needed. The location is within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and tourist venues. We did take a taxi to and from train station because of luggage. The apartment is in a quiet residential area. You will not be disappointed!!! Absolutely great value with a fantastic host!

Just brilliant

The apartment has a perfect location: quiet area but only a five minute walk from buzzling leith walk. You feel at home from the minute, everything is where it is expected to be and nothing necessary is missing. Parking is no problem. Only thing to think about: the garbage is not easy to be allocated to the correct outside. Three bins , no clear statement where goes what. Bottles? Organic stuff? Plastics? Paper? Rest? Still, that doesn't take any points off the apartment. Very friendly and helpful owner solved and explained everything. All in all: if we return, our choice is clear.

Perfect space for us

Great two bedroom, two bathroom flat walking distance from the city center. Slawomir met us at the property when we arrived to show us around and answer any questions we might have. It was so nice having a kitchen, so we didn’t have to eat every meal out. The flat was very quiet and just a few minutes away from a grocery store. Would definitely recommend this place!

Short Trip to Edinburgh

Three of us had an opportunity visit Edinburgh for a 4 day stay. The apartment worked out great for us as we were able to walk around the city from the apartment. It only took 10-15 minutes to get to the theatre district area. The property manager responded promptly, met us when we arrived and gave great recommendations. It was a great trip for us.

Nice Apartment in a quiet neighborhood

We stayed here while we explored the Edinburg area and had a great time. The apartment is in a quiet neighbourhood close to shopping, restaurants, public transportation and a reasonable walk to the city centre. There is on site parking and the apartment is comfortable and clean.

Lovely property

We found the rental exactly as described and displayed in the listing. The kitchen was well equipped for those who choose to cook some of their own meals while visiting Edinburgh. The location is near bus and tram lines, as well as restaurants and smaller grocery stores. Slawomir was very good about keeping in touch before our stay, as well as assiting when we had questions during our stay. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location to everything!

We had the best time in Scotland. This flat was perfect for our family (Grandma, Child, 2 Parents). Slawomir greeted us at the flat, showed us around and provided us with helpful hints about the area and local eateries. We purchased the Hop on / Hop off tour to get around and see Edinburgh. We were able walk to St. Andrew Square to pick it up and conveniently to see the city. It was a good 20-25 minute walk to the square. We also rented a vehicle for a few days and toured around the countryside (Glasgow, Midhope Castle, Blackness Castle, Linlithgow Palace, Stirling Castle, St. Andrew’s, Fort William, Malloy, Etc). Parking at the flat can be tricky. The first night we couldn’t find a spot behind the building or down the street and we couldn’t get the key fob to work for the underground, so we attempted to park at the building next door (which says for Allanfield residents)… bad choice on our part - we got a parking ticket. Our bad! A 60 pound ticket. We stayed for a week (in July) and couldn’t have asked for a better time. The beds are true kings (twin XLs put together), firm but comfortable and the bedding was nice. It was very nice to have 2 bathrooms - however, we are bigger people and couldn’t comfortably fit in the shower, so we all used the bathtub/shower combo for bathing. The flat is in a central location, perfect for those using Edinburgh as their main location. We really enjoyed our stay at this flat. Would love to stay here again.

Tolles Apartment in der Nähe des Zentrums

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Apartment ist sehr gut ausgestattet, man kann in der Nähe einkaufen und essen gehen und ist zu Fuß in kurzer Zeit bei allen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Super praktisch, dass man das Auto direkt am Apartment abstellen kann. Und nicht zuletzt der Gastgeber Slawomir, der sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend ist.

Wonderful stay!

The property was wonderful. The kitchen was fully stocked (even included plastic wrap!) and lots of cleaning products, soaps, dishwasher soap, detergent, etc. It is walkable to most everything (a little over a mile to the Royal Mike) including groceries, restaurants, etc. Slawomir met us and explained everything to us. He is a great host and very prompt in communicating. I highly recommend this property.

I have never experienced such hospitality! Slawomir met us, explained everything, then started giving us suggestions of what to see, helped us make decisions on where to go, great driving tips for the "wrong" side of the road and directions and maps for every occasion! He loves what he does and it shows. The place was exactly as we thought from the pictures/description. Having laundry there was wonderful and esspresso even better! The location couldnt have been better and we easily ran in and out throughout our days. Truly can't recommend staying here enough!

Fabulous time. Owner was a great help, communicating with us in preparation for our trip. He met us at the apartment to provide lots of useful information about the rental, neighborhood and city.
