Horrible stay. Avoid this hotel. My wife and I got food poisoning twice from different hotel restaurants and spent 2 days stuck in bed. We stayed 9 nights and saw all there is to see in this hotel. The rooms are old and not at the level especially for the price. The staff is junior and untrained, sometimes even rude and allows a level of familiarity with customers that is quite strange. Only redeeming features were the very nice beach and the quality of the breakfast which is the only moment where you can enjoy a good meal. All the other restaurants are really bad. However, you better get to the beach early because by 9.30 am, all the good beds are sold to people from outside the hotel especially on weekends. Despite our compalints nothing was done to improve our stay, only after we left the manager seemed to care and proposed points on marriot program that would only be equivalent to 1 night in marriot by an airport or 1 free lunch which we of course refused. Totally unacceptable for the price (over 7k USD spent during our stay). Bottom line, if you want a real luxury hotel go to one and only, mandarin or four seasons, or for half the price go to the park hyatt which is better and cheaper. Again, avoid this badly run hotel, total rip off, this is not a ritz carlton experience at all.
