'We had the best stay here!! The history of the house was amazing and the owners have kept it original while adding the modern conveniences. Myself and my daughters stayed and we spent so much time trying to take in all the special touches like the history of the house and of Shirley, very cool to read about! And Duke the hounddog was the perfect touch, he roams Shirley getting love and food from everyone. Perfect place to stay so you're in the middle of all the towns to go and do and experience...

'The cabin was cosy & clean. Very peaceful. We will definitely plan on booking again. '

'This was just as listed. It is a cozy cottage close to the lake. We keep our boat at Choctaw Marina, so this worked out perfect for us. The communication with the owner was fast and all of our questions were answered. We had some family visiting the lake on the last day and the owner let us extend our check out by an hour. We will definitely reserve this cabin again.'

'Everything is just as pictured in this listing!! It’s the perfect distance from town. Also, bonus there’s cell service if you have Verizon! We will book again often. We are only an hour away and cannot wait to come back this fall! '

'Gorgeous house and gorgeous property!We really enjoyed our trip!! It was quite and peaceful and the house was stocked with everything we needed. There was plenty of room for 7 of us and our fur babies. The house is decorated beautifully and feels so homey. Would definitely recommend! '

'We loved the Lil Blue Cottage. Very nice, clean, and so pretty on inside too. Yard is very nice. Perfect coffee set up! Enjoyed our stay so much. Only recommendations would be small end tables with lamps at each end of the love seat and safety handles in shower and by commode. Will stay here again. . '

'After a 20 hour drive this was the perfect little spot to get some much needed rest. Cute little cabin that did not feel little at all! Cozy with a nice bathroom and split acs that worked great in the heat. Close to town but Very quiet and private. Thanks for letting us stay in your wonderful retreat!! '
