« Very enjoyable stay, well stocked kitchen and gorgeous beach with easy access. Beds were comfortable and owner very responsive! Private, remote neighborhood, we loved seeing the eagles a few times. I recommend this property for a northern MI getaway. »

« The cabin was very clean and up to date with wi-fi and you tube tv. The place was very clean and had everything needed for a weeks stay, towels, paper towel, kitchen utensils etc. Being right on the lake was great! Loved the stay and plan to come back. Eric the property manager was very nice and was able to tell us about things to do in the area. Great experience! »

« Loved the location of this house - quick drives to Petoskey, Harbor Springs, and Mackinac. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Access to the beach was a 2 minute walk, and was worth every step up and down the driveway…we had the entire beach to ourselves and it was beautiful! Also loved all of the extras that were already there and we didn’t have to pack - beach chairs, wagon for towing to the beach, fans, etc. »

« Great location! Well stocked air b&b! Had the cutest little kiddy cutout under the stairs for the kiddos to just chill. Had a great kitchen space and the Netflix was nice to relax at the end of the days and watch a little bit of your favorite show. »

« We all (wife and two friends) had a great stay at the Mackinaw House. Rooms and living areas were all clean and well supplied. Especially enjoyed the privacy of our little stretch of the Lake Huron shore for cookouts and stargazing. Would gladly return or recommend the house to any future guests. »

« It was a cute house. Needed ALOT of TLC. When we arrived it took over an HOUR to get in and we artived and hour AFTER check in time. Even when we connected with some SHE could not use KEY FREE ENTRY SHE COULD NIT GET IN. We ended up usining her KEY. The cottage was NOT dusted. The bedroom to right of living room smelled mUSTY. OUR WINDOW AIR DID NOT WORK. WE HAD NO VIEW OF LAKE like stated on information. Only 2 windows had screens on. PORCH SCREEN DOOR WAS TATTERED. MISQUOTES WERE...

« The thing I always notice first in a rental property is the level of cleanliness, and I was immediately impressed! It is obviously something the owners value, as every area of the property was immaculate. It was also very well-maintained, attractive, and nicely landscaped. The kitchen was well-appointed and well-stocked. Plenty of clean towels and linens for the entire week, and a very efficient washer and dryer for our laundry. We had everything we needed for a great week on the lake!...

« Great place to stay in the U.P. About 20ish minutes from st ignace which was nice because we spent a day on Mackinac Island. Very peaceful and relaxing area. My kids loved the paddle boat. Plenty of space for our family of 4. We would definitely stay here again. »

"Chambre propre et spacieuse avec parking sur le palier. Très bon café avec cafetière à dosette dans la chambre, conditionner et shampoings en distributeur. Petit déjeuner complet en sucré uniquement, dans le petit hall de réception. ATTENTION, pas de salle de petit déjeuner, il doit être emporté et manger dans la chambre, ce qui n'est pas précisé lors de la réservation sur la plateforme. Il y a une table et deux chaises dans la chambre pour prendre le petit déjeuner. Hôtel vieillissant mais propre, néanmoins payé trop cher et ne vaut pas la note si haute qui leur ai attribué."

"Nice location. Affordable. I booked this room uner the impression that I was renting a cabin. So when I checked in, I asked the receptionist if what I booked was a cabin and she said no! I was truly disappointed. I knew at about 100$ for the night it would have been way to lucky. Going back to the website page after the fact, I realize that pictures of the regular model rooms and the cute cottages are all mixed in there. But the first few pictures you look at are the cottages. So it makes you think that's what you are renting. I'm sure lots of people make that mistake. So the motel room was decently clean. Very outdated though. But everything worked. But the walls are also paper thin. You hear pretty clearly people chatting and laughing. It makes it hard to sleep at night. I had to turn on the AC to block the noises. We were there in late October. I can see that it's prime location in the summer. The property is right on the lake. Beautiful beach. "
