'We chose this hotel because it was close to the M6 on our route home. We had booked 2 family rooms one for 2 adults and one for an adult and 2 children. When we arrived we found it hard to find a parking space in the dark. The next morning we discovered there is plenty of parking it was just not well sign posted near the entrance We checked in at 9pm after visiting friends, no information was offered about breakfast. 'Disappointing stay The hotel room was very basic but adequate for a one-night stay, as we were attending a wedding nearby. However, I was disappointed with the service and the condition of the hotel. I booked early in the year and emailed the hotel in advance to ask if an early check-in could be arranged, as the wedding was starting at 1pm. I received no reply to my email. I then contacted the hotel by phone and was told that the only way to guarantee an early check-in was to book the room...

'The hotel is very clean and in a great location. The car park is a short 2 minute wallk away at Lytham Green/ Clifton Drive. There are several bars / restaurants on the doorstep, our favourite being Zest. My only criticism is the pillows are hard and lumpy and need replacing.. A great stay overall'
