'The staff was very friendly and helpful. The city centre is a 35 - 40 minute walk. You can also take the bus which stops 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel. The rooms aren't very special but will do for a short stay'

'it's a Courtyard Marriott. Still relatively young hotel so everything still well-maintained and clean. Does what it says on the tin for this chain. All staff I encountered were polite, friendly and efficient.'

'Groot hotel, net buiten binnenstad van Oxford. Nette kamers, moderne badkamer en prima bed. Mooi zwembad met fitness, prima ontbijt en bar. Prijs kwaliteit is in balans maar verder wel aan de hoge kant. Ook jammer dat het inmiddels betaald parkeren is.'

'Very 'Oxford' style hotel. A little wear & tear in my single room. Room was a little too warm for my liking and opening the window was quite tricky for fresh air (no airco - or at least airco not working at this time of year). Rusty and leaking kettle in the room.'

'Het hotel was centraal gelegen en dat was een groot voordeel. De kamer was prima, maar een beetje stoffig. We zaten in een uitbouw buiten het hotel en vonden het wel jammer dat dit van tevoren niet vermeld was bij de boeking. Het hotel zelf is toch leuker om in te verblijven.'

'It’s a very nice cozy place, but with an extremely bad WiFi and mobile coverage, and somewhat lousy isolation. Perhaps because of the nature of the building. Personnel are always nice to talk to.'

'The room was really dark and I didn't like the open plan layout with the toilet in the bedroom (no privacy). The room décor was tired and the jacuzzi didn't work. Only 5 hangers which the staff quickly remedied. Lovely long decking area but it hadn't been cleaned and had no decking furniture so you couldn't sit outside. The staff were absolutely super though and the food was amazing. We ate in the Thai restaurant one evening which was great. Also the Oak Restaurant and again the food was super -...
