« House was as advertised though a bit further off the road then I expected resulting in a very quiet secluded stay. It was pet friendly which was great though hardwood floors so you have to be careful. The house had every amenity for the most part you could need. The Host communication was easy, and timely, extremely responsive and amenable to check in check out time flexibility. »

« We had a wonderful stay at The Mill House! Our family of four made amazing memories and the house and location was perfect for what we wanted out of our weekend (hiking, fishing, Bon fire s’mores, hot tub, etc.). Highly recommend and will visit again in the future. »

« This was a perfect place to stay for our long weekend trip to Shenandoah! The location is perfect, especially for Old Rag access. Sperryville is a very cute town, too! We especially loved sitting on the balcony in the mornings and evenings. It’s definitely basic, just a microwave, mini fridge, and Keurig, but that was all we really needed. It was so peaceful. We will definitely be back! »

« Short walk to Inn at Little Washington and Pattyo's which we didn't realize and a reasonable way to drive Skyline Drive and visit in Ruckersville. Host was very helpful. »

« This property was just what my family wanted and expected-- a superb, modest base for activities and touring in the local area. We enjoyed in particular early mornings in the large screened porch. We didn't bring our family dog this time, but we'll certainly keep that option in mind for future trips. »

The scenery is beautiful and the house was really great -- clean and tidy, has a lot of cool art and furniture, plenty of room for a whole family, and a wonderful screened-in porch that was perfect for enjoying the beautiful weather. The host was very helpful and communicative, and check-in and -out was a breeze. The house is also perfectly located for easy access to all the fun stuff that Sperryville and the surrounding area has to offer. »

« The cottage was well appointed and fun. The bathroom and bedroom are on different levels so be prepared for that. It was nice having the hot tub but it had a ton of bugs in it. The views and land were beautiful. Never able to find the animals and the office was closed on a Sunday so no one to ask for assistance. The directional arrows at the property are very confusing. »
