'My husband and I stayed in this home for our annual anniversary trip. We love hiking and brought our dog with us for some active relaxation. This home was one of the best we have stayed in. It had everything we needed, and was clean and comfortable. Conveniently located about 15 minutes from Front Royal where there was plenty to do; yet also steps away from a trail in the neighborhood, which intersects with the AT. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. '

'This property was a one night stop for us on our way to Shenendoah NP. It was perfect! The cabin was lovely, just enough space for 2, with everything we needed. We enjoyed building a campfire (wood/starter probided!) and eating the s’mores which were also provided for us. The quiet wooded surroundings were lovely. Definitely worth it! '

'Well appointed home. Location is gorgeous, extremely private, quiet, close to the river with 2 seating areas by the water, one with a fire pit and grill. Owners quick to respond. '

'What a fantastic place to get away from it all! All the basics were there and in great condition. The cabin is well maintained and is very easy to relax in because it is not cluttered or filled to the brim with "stuff". The neighborhood is quiet, and the drive to Linden or Front Royal is short. However, the house is so nice that leaving is hard! '

'We had 3 16 year olds, 12 and 19 year old plus my boyfriend and myself stayed here for 5 days. The train through the back yard was awesome, the beautiful river, private dock and fire pit across the street was perfect. Having the kids crossing the road was really a non issue for us since they are older. I was worried about sharing one bathroom but we made out just fine also not having a TV worried me but turned out to be great. Got us to spend time together and looking for the next thing to do....

'Quiet and Peaceful just what we needed '

'Cute cozy cabin in a great location. Was perfect for stopping in Luray, taking hiking trips to Shenandoah National Park, or just staying in. Had a wonderful time! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a cabin in the area.'

'Very nice rustic get-a-way in a quiet neighborhood - relaxing retreat. Close to attractions and kayaking in the river. The outdoor theater was a nice touch - helpful hints: you will need a computer, DVD player, or an Amazon fire stick to work the projector (HDMI connection) with wifi capability and take a Bluetooth speaker to enhance your experience. Great yard if you have dogs, but don't forget flea/tick protection to keep them safe. Kristen was excellent with communication! I would recommend...

'Had a wonderful three day stay in this rustic mountaintop cabin. Kitchen was decently stocked, both bathrooms worked well, and beds were comfortable. Owner was very responsive to the one question we had. Would definitely book again.'

'The view from the veranda was breathtaking. especially at sunset. The log cabin is fully equipped. Sofa bed is less suitable for an adult.'

'My partner and I had a great stay here. The place was exactly as described and very clean. We loved relaxing outside and taking in the beautiful scenery. The location was directly between the towns of Luray and Fort Royal so there was always a good spot to go for a bite to eat. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.'

'Property was very clean, the only complaint was the amount of flying insects on the grounds outside the cabin. We used bug spray, but could not enjoy the beautiful outdoor space as we had intended to do. '

'Overall fabulous stay! Fully furnished Cabin with fenced in backyard for our dogs to play in. Conveniently located close to Luray, NC and local attractions like Luray Caverns and Antique Car Museum. Just off the beaten path for privacy with a few neighbors all around. Great for two couples to get away for a long weekend!'
