'I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn by the bay in Portland Maine. It was an excellent experience and not terribly expensive for booking. I loved how the staff was able to upgrade my room just from checking in alone. Recommend anyone passing by to at least stay here just for the heck of it if you got time and money to spare.'

'I paid for 3 Deluxe King bedrooms - stayed 1 night 4/19/2026. Christopher at front desk gave me 2 basic king bedrooms (Room # 102 and 103) and 1 deluxe king bedroom (208). I was tired and did not want to start a complain. Just wish if Christopher would refund the difference between the deluxe and the basic room instead of not saying anything. '

'The hotel was clean and in a great spot. The staff was helpful. I was disappointed in some of the tech. You are asked to text to retrieve your car. Our car was “not recognized by the system”. We also were unable to cast to the TV in our room with a streaming app. The service kept on recognizing an adjacent room. We called the helpline but they could not resolve the issue. '
