« We stayed in the Garden Cottage for a week and cannot recommend it for longer stays. While the property manager responded to our texts and generally sent maintenance within 24 hours, the property suffers from poor upkeep and temporary fixes. « Unfortunately we would not return to this house. We loved the proximity to beach and the lake view from the upstairs bedroom, and appreciated the upstairs AC unit. That was about all we were able to enjoy… the place was very dirty, dishes weren’t clean, throw blankets were not washed and had awful smells. « the beach house was very clean and comfortable. I did experience some confusion on how to contact the host because the code we received didn't work and we had to get another code.We really enjoyed walking out the door wall onto the beach every morning.we enjoyed shopping in Tawas is just south of Oscoda.We are looking forward to returning in the near future »

« I loved this place with one important caveat. The bathroom floor is extremely slippery. Socks and dry floor? Bare feet and wet floor? You need to be careful, especially if you're older. I almost did the splits going to use the restroom. The shower is small and you can't keep the curtain in, so the floor will get a bit wet.
