'Maya is a great place to stay and their restaurant is the best! Try the peanut brittle pie (homemade from scratch) when you go there as I've never had a better dessert. The pie is a legend in Belize as well as all their other fabulous food and bakery goods. A true Belize getaway, simple and fun. Clean as well!'

'Heerlijk zwembad, mooi gelegen aan het strand, uitstekend restaurant. Mooi appartement met lekkere bedden. Goede wifi. Luxe uitstraling gaf ons een luxe gevoel Wat wel jammer was: personeel steeds heel welwillend, bv dat iets het niet doet of een taxi bellen. Maar dan werd het toch vergeten, taxi te laat, ijsblokjesmachine zelf gerepareerd. Terwijl het niet druk was. In het appartement: lamp op balkon mist, droogrek mist, weinig glaswerk (geen wijn-of bierglazen)'

'Property was beautifully designed and new. The staff were amazing and very accommodating. The spa was incredible - 5 stars. Food was very good and nice variety on the menu with daily specials. The only thing we did not like was the pool area is small (only 8 loungers) and right beside the restaurant & open air kitchen which can be loud if you are trying to relax. Also, not much of a beach area to speak of.'

'This was a gift from the universe. Stunning location, excellent staff and not a lot of people around. The ocean front cabana was perfect. We swam with nurse sharks, different types of rays and a huge variety of fish. I am incredibly grateful for the experience. My daughters (14 and 19) had the most incredible time here. We stayed for 6 days...not nearly long enough. I am hoping for a return visit.'
