« Personnel vraiment très accueillant. Chambre de belles dimensions pour le prix avec petit dej énorme inclus et parking gratuit. Grande salle de bains (toilettes dans la sdb). Lits un peu mous mais ça va. Très belle terrasse sur le lac. En revanche le resto est cher et la brasserie bruyante. Il vaut mieux diner dehors. »

« Superbe lodge en bord de lac. Spacieux, confortable, cuisine américaine aménagée. Balcon. SDB, 2 toilettes. Très propre. Personnel très accueillant. Seul bémol, il faut ajouter £10 pour avoir accès à la piscine. »

« Hotel très bien placé avec vue magnifique sur le lac mais un peu vieillot Petit dejeuner buffet avec pas mal de choix mais la qualité pourrait être améliorée (porridge préparé avec du lait plutôt que de l’eau par example) La douche était un cauchemar alternant eau bouillante et glacée sans qu’on touche au robinet et quand nous l’avons mentionné à l’accueil, aucune excuse, juste un “merci pour le feed-back” »

« The person at the reception had a very inappropriate behaviour. The welcome was cold, to such a point that we did not stay in the hotel for the diner. Piscine (nice, good temperature), sauna (not warm enough - could not even sweat) Jaccuzzi (out of order). Wifi limited to Whathsapp and Facebok. TV poor quality (channels). Room quite big, good confort with 2 kids, a plus »

« Omg where do I start! This hotel is amazing. So clean so friendly. The staff are amazing. Nothing is too much. I brought my partner here to propose to her. There is a beautiful little cabin that they decorate and you can add stuff like chocolate covered strawberries, which are to die for. Also added a bottle of Prosecco which is in an ice bucket and placed just before the time you agree to use it from. « Super nice rooms, excellent shower, all very clean and well maintained. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Swimming pool, sauna and steam room were high quality, clean and maintained throughout the day. Breakfast excellent - continental pastries and usual buffet. The restaurant and bar area are picturesque and add to warm cosy feeling of the entire venue. Would highly recommend. »

« Due to circumstances beyond our control we were forced to cancel our reservation at the hotel, which we did by telephone four days before our expected arrival. When the hotel refused to refund our prepayment, we asked for a raincheck, which they didn't even answer. »

Great location, short walk to village incl pubs and chippy, also access to walks (which pass through livestick fields so dogs on leads). Grizedale forest was a short drive away with really good (long & short) walks, better for dogs off leads. »
