« It was very clean and the room had what we needed. My main criticism is that they state breakfast included and it meets that at only the bare minimum. There were heating pots and other items that hinted to a better breakfast at other times in the season, which is disappointing. »

« This was a lovely retreat - the location was perfect and we truly enjoyed the enormous tub! The views were stunning and the people around were also very kind and helpful. Would definitely reccomend. »

« Great location close to Blackwater Falls State Park and the two towns of Davis and Thomas. Communications with host suburb! All I needed to cook meals with stove, microwave, pots/pans, coffeemaker; Small space but just right for my solo retreat at waterfalls, rivers, trails for hiking! Highly recommend !! »

« The property was very clean, and the kitchen well stocked with everything we needed! The decor was dated (80s), the towels were pretty worn, the outside property could use some TLC (to make it more inviting), and the twin beds were uncomfortable. But to me, the cleanliness was the most important! Thanks! »

« Clean room and friendly helpful staff…when I arrived room was being cleaned. However the “kitchen” and bar were closed on Mondays. Unknown to me at the time of booking. No beer at night and no coffee in the morning. Communication during booking thru to arrival was a bet sketchy. But it all worked out. »

« We had a great stay. Just as advertised. It was a little chilly and we enjoyed the fireplace and the ample wood supply. The house was also supplied with all the necessities. The back deck was great. »

« Cabin was very cold upon arrival. Bath tub possibly had black mold on paneling. Beds were uncomfortable. Only two small logs left next to fireplace. No wood outside like was in pics. We were made to purchase a damage insurance policy for 59 which is ridiculous. Couldn’t wait to leave. »
