'Wij hebben 2 nachten geslapen in het Black Bear Motel in Slade en hebben genoten; prima plek als uitvalsbasis voor alle activiteiten in Red River Gorge en echt een leuk motel om te slapen! Vriendelijke dame bij het inchecken en de kamer was ruim en schoon. Heerlijke bedden en ruim parkeren. Dit motel krijgt van ons een tien!'

'Area was close to everything we wanted to do, mattress a little hard for our liking especially after hiking all day. Definitely recommend for couples and location!'

'Host was friendly and helpful'

'great secluded property with everything we needed for a great weekend. Hot Tub was nice after a day of hiking.'

'Great was such a great, cute, comfy place to stay! It is in a very convenient area for anywhere you need to travel in the Gorge and dining. My husband drinks coffee and LOVED the ground coffee that was provided. The kitchen had everything we needed. Firewood is provided for the fire pits. Lots of little extra things to use while you’re there. We were very impressed!!'

'Great place would stay again'

'Great little cottage!'

'I enjoyed my stay. Made me fall more in love with tiny living.'

'The perfect get away!'

'This cabin was so nice! It was very private and peaceful. The host was so easy to communicate with which made the stay more enjoyable. It was close to the gorge and many attractions. I would definitely recommend staying here!'

'The bed is big and comfortable. The shower and restroom are spotless. The free firewood was an unexpected gift. The sound of the rain on the tent canvas took me back to my teenage years. My wife and 2 dogs loved our stay as much as I did. It was the perfect way to begin our 30th Anniversary road trip.'

'The place was great and offered great amenities. Great location, 10 minutes from town and 15 from the red river gorge locations. The cons, some of the fixes were cheap, one being the picnic table, the left broke resulting un our food flying off and ruining a dinner/cookout. Good place tho and good ac'

'This was a great place for a weekend stay.'

'Cabin was clean and convenient, which is always a top priority. Only issue was the furniture was old and uncomfortable. The couch was unsittable. Bed was fair though.'
