'staff not available on site they keep the open sign on and door lock and no body open the door or answer the phone when you call . even if you are in the parking lot'

'It was perfect! Just what we needed for a quick visit with family and could bring the dog!'

'The AC does not work. The portable AC units do not work with casement windows.Makes for a challenging sleep.Location is nice.Being your own sharp knives, extra garbage bags, extra toilet paper, kitchen towels and washcloths, and bathroom hand towels as these are not included. I can’t stress enough how HOT it is in the upstairs rooms (only place to sleep). 88 degrees on second floor and no clue with the third as there was not a thermostat up there. We stayed here halfway for both on our trip to SC...

'Didn’t like king bed in upstairs with a-frame ceiling'

'I loved the easy check in process. The host was wonderful. We left some items at the home even though we swept through the home multiple times. But they were able to send our items back to us. That was much appreciated. Home had some internet issues but other than that we enjoyed our stay.'

'Amazing host! Great property, she even left little snacks.'

'Place was clean. No problem finding parking nearby, Easy to get into with door code given. Not a lot of restaurants around, but there was a good pizza restaurant/bar nearby. It's a good place to stay if you want to pay less than the hotels in and around downtown Norfolk. Easy to get to Norfolk by car or ferry.'

'It was a cozy place for the two of us. Quiet and peaceful. Loved the pool and sitting by the lake. Romantic. No TV and no distractions.'

'We were unable to stay in this location because of the extremely narrow and steep stairwell that you have to climb up to in order to get to the apartment. This place is not for the elderly. I am only 60 years old and in great health, the stairs were scary for me. The balcony is also very sketchy. The door to the balcony would not lock. Also, the location was a little bit suspicious with the toilet randomly sitting next to the house. Communication with the host was very good however, he also had...

'The house is beautiful and tastefully decorated, and we greatly appreciate the opportunity to vacation here, but the house was not clean, the floors were filthy, leaving our socks and feet black if we went without shoes. We did clean all the floors, several times while there, because it took several cleanings before our socks and feet did not turn black, and before we checked out. The trash cans, one large and one small were overflowing when we arrived. The owners did send people out to pick up...

'The host was very responsive, the home was spacious and we loved that there was laundry available. The neighborhood was relatively quiet and yes there was a small smell of Marijuana OUTSIDE maybe once a night from the neighbors but if that's an issue for you, you need to rent an island because that's everywhere these days. For what we paid we got a lot more than we expected and would stay again.'

'I have no complaints. The house is older but well-updated and part of a duplex. The location was great, and it was comfortable for our family of five!'

'The home was very spacious and functional. Pictures were a true representation of the property. The house is easy to get to, close to various retailers in case you need something. I had no problems receiving my Walmart and Sam’s Club deliveries. Even with the house being on a main road, it doesn’t feel like it at all. Host had great communication. We didn’t need anything at all but felt very comfortable to reach out to her. We stayed in this town a year ago and had a great time. This property...

'The property was cute and quaint on the inside, it was very clean, I felt safe and the host was fast to respond. The neighborhood however was not what I expected and the neighbor next to us had their music up all night until 1 am which made it very difficult to drift off to sleep. That obviously isn’t in the hosts control but if you stay here and are a light sleeper this will impact your ability to sleep.'
