'My husband and I enjoyed this relaxing cabin and the refreshing creek. It was much needed. The only issue is we didnt stay long enough. '

'Overall this was a great place to stay. We had 5 adults and a toddler and were comfortable. We brought our Cavachon and he did well too! Host was very responsive and great with work with. Only drawbacks, floors were a little dirty. If there was a regular mop, I would have cleaned the floors! Ants around the sink, and strong odor from someone’s previous pet visit. All manageable and I’d stay there again! '

'My cousin and I spent the weekend here to visit family in the area. The house was perfect for our needs and the proximity to family was minutes away. The owners are very responsive and friendly. 'Our family had a lovely time at Walker Creek. We enjoyed the spacious house, ate family dinners at the dining table, and played several games of pool in the game room. My husband and son fished every morning using the kayak, canoe, or just walking into the creek. The property is beautiful and peaceful. On our last morning there, my son was fishing, of course, and saw four otters swimming in the creek. They were so curious about what he was doing. It was a great family getaway!'

'Had a wonderful stay. Nancy was most accommodating and extremely responsive to messages. House very pleasant. Was most entertaining to sit in the evenings on the porch and watch the goats battle for sleeping places.As an aside, as it is a farm, there are outdoor cats so if you have a cat allergy just be aware. They do not come in the house at all. '

'The place is totally awesome. My family of 10 came in for a wedding from Alabama & Pennsylvania . It had well enough bedding and very large open kitchen with living room concept for all of us to be together. The house her been recently renovated and has beautiful colors and very large bathrooms . My grandkids were able to play in the creek that was in the backyard . We are coming back for another family wedding in October and will definitely try to get the house again.'

'We stayed at the home while getting our son settled in as a freshman at Virginia Tech and also spent some time enjoying the area. It's an older building in a rustic setting, but the home has been updated and we found it to be clean and comfortable. The nearby creek is lovely. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.'

'Property was exactly as described in listing, and a great location for venturing out to explore the surrounding mountain area. Very quiet, peaceful, with wonderful front porch views of the creek. Everything you could possibly need was provided, including S'MORES ingredients, which was a nice, thoughtful touch. Bed was comfy, and it was lovely to go to sleep with the nighttime sounds of crickets in the background. Communication with property manager, Hannah, was smooth, easy, and timely. I wish...
