Kies je hotel in Geary County

'This place is always clean and staff is friendly! Great location, right across the street from campus, Aggieville and a couple blocks from City Park. Definitely will stay here again!'

'Parking is narrow and there is not enough for the property. Otherwise I thought it was clean and fairly well maintained. The breakfast was ok but by the time I got down most of it was empty or gone and not restocked. Staff was nice, friendly and helpful. Location is 7 min from KSU campus. The main issue that I saw was that the walls and floor/ ceilings were thin. Noise from the hall and above was irksome. People can be jerks and there is not much the hotel can do about that. 'Rooms are nice, clean, with good a/c & heat. Hot breakfast is adequate, but closes early sometimes. Really nice, large, fenced, outdoor area for gathering or smoking. The only problem for us is that the doors are SO heavy. Need one person to hold open while the other brings in luggage. Would be difficult if I were traveling alone.'

'Clean room. Very helpful staff'

'I left my 2 night stay a night early after I saw roaches in my room the first night! Would have left right then but it was too late in the evening to find a new place. Room smelled like cigarette smoke and mildew. Door would not securely lock from the outside. Mattress was old with sunken spots in it. Shower floor was slippery and looked bad. Checked out and told the front desk person why I was leaving a day early. They apologized and said they would tell the manager and make notes. They sent me...

'Staff was great.'

'We had 2 cockroaches in our room we had to kill, when we went to turn in the keys at 6:30 we could not find a key box to turn them in so had to slide them under the roll down door.'

'The only drawback to our stay was the highway noise, especially over the evening hours. The hotel does provide simple foam earplugs for guests in rooms on the highway (south) side of the property, and they help. Very much appreciated the cleanliness of the place and the level of service overall. Very good breakfast offerings and a spacey breakfast room.'

'Everything was clean and staff was excellent.'

'First - please get rid of the skeletons in the lobby area. It makes customers leary as they first walk in. I do appreciate that the supervisor fixed the room from two singles to one king size bed. It really needs some upgrading in the rooms.'
