« Room smelt like sewage and continued to get worse with time. (Stayed two nights) We alerted the front desk multiple times. They offered air freshener spray. They stated there ‘is nothing they can do for us unless we’d like to share a room with another guest’. This was more than disgusting and the rude staff did nothing to investigate the situation or offer another room. Pool under maintenance/not usable. Booked this stay over others to have this amenity. Will not stay again. »

« Really enjoyed my one night stay. Clean and quiet. Only thing that did not make me want to return : its location. Leaving Pittsburgh to return home in Canada, the time lost traveling on secondary roads made the return home less pleasant. »

« The view of the Allegany River is breathtaking and the rooms are spacious and clean. The decor makes it feel like home rather than a hotel room. The "take and go" breakfast has a very limited selection. However, the room and the other amenities by far outweigh the limited breakfast. We will definitely stay here again! »

« This historic cottage on the oldest golf course in the United States was a gem of a find. The inside was beautifully decorated but with a modern update including the kitchen with all the conveniences. Everything we needed was there. We loved sitting on the porch in the lovely wooden rockers and watching the hummingbirds at the feeders and other birds and wildlife as well as golfers on the course. The host was very responsive to messages. We would highly recommend a stay at Tarry Moore...

« I was looking to get away by myself and this was the perfect location to do that. It snowed which made it that much more beautiful. The house was very clean and comfy. I vegged for 3 days, watched TV and pretty much decompressed. The bed was amazingly comfortable, and I am always looking for a good night sleep. I would definitely return and maybe it will be during warmer weather this time. Thank you for sharing this wonderful gem!!!! »

« I wish I could give this cottage 10 stars! Very clean and cozy with many added touches that made it feel like home. The hosts were so gracious and kind, and the cottage was one of the highlights of our stay. All of our activities were within a close driving distance, and the cottage was quiet in the evenings for a relaxing night after a day packed full of fun. « Perfect for getting away from it all and still close to all of the "things" to do. Definitely bring a fan or two if it's going to be hot and chairs for the fire pit. Wish we could have stayed longer. »
