'We always love our stay at Murphys Inn. It is an easy saunter down Main Street to enjoy your favorite food and drinks, and right around the corner from the excellent grocery store which is right across the street from an excellent Tap room.'

'What an amazing place to stay!!! We were welcomed by a sweet Lab named Bear and the lovely owner!! It was a simple facility with such a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere!! The fire pit was beautiful and relaxing. The beds and bathrooms were just the relaxation this teacher wanted!!! THANK YOU!!!'

'Prachtig hotel wat vroeger een oude town hall was. Het is van binnen ook super modern. Ideaal voor een tussenstop richting yosemite.'

'I enjoyed staying there! The staff were amazing and the continental breakfast was a delight. Thank you, I will come again!'

'We found this place because we wanted to go to Yosemite. But the village itself and the area have a lot to offer as well, since Mark Twain used to reside here. Murphys is a really nice town with a lot of wine tasting just under 10miles away. We ended up staying 3 nights (instead of 1). To Yosemite its just under 2 hours. The hotel is a bit old but has all the appliances. No breakfast but a grocerystore down the road.'

'Everybody was friendly, attentive to our comfort. Highly recommend!'

'Clean, nice hot shower,'

'Loved the place. Will go back for sure.'

'De kamer was oké en de omgeving ook. De badkamer was erg klein en vies.'

'Peaceful and quiet stay. We slept so well with our toddler in the king bed. An optional rollaway bed was also provided. Doing a load of laundry after a couple days of camping, one of which was rainy, was spectacular. Close to Calaveras Big Trees state park which we visited the following day, just 8 minutes up the road. Bring your own dinner if planning to arrive late. There’s a microwave and a mini fridge. Hosts were friendly and accommodating.'

'We came for our anniversary with our kid and drive up the mountain a few miles to play in the snow ... Hoping it stays open we loved it'

'Awesome host, nice getaway'
