'This spot is close to downtown Petoskey, yet far enough that you feel away from it all. We rented a canoe and did 5 miles down the Bear river, which brought us back to the camp site. Beautiful scenery and peaceful. The bathroom/shower house was clean and had plenty of hot water. Don't forget the bug spray, being close to the river did bring mosquitoes. We had a great anniversary weekend and would definitely return! '

Me and my girls were in between moving in and out of different homes and spent 10 nights here - It was perfect and what we needed during the transition! Being right on the water was a dream come true - especially the views waking up first thing in the morning and then around sunset. 'Cabin was very clean, cute, and cozy! We brought our 1 year old for his first trip up north. This was a great location for us. 30 min from the beach we like to go to and about 5 min from downtown harbor springs. Owner and kind neighbors gave us firewood that lasted us the entire week which was wonderful. Lots of s’mores made! If you have young ones the cabin is right by the street, so you gotta keep an eye out so they don’t run into the road but our guy did just fine. Would definitely recommend...

'Erin was fantastic and the house was everything we could wish for. Very comfortable, well stocked with everything you might need, and great location very close to fantastic beaches on Lake Michigan as well as beautiful nature preserves along M119 (tunnel of trees). We loves sitting on the back deck watching a summer meteor shower too. Will definitely come back in the future.'

'When we arrived it instantly exceeded our expectations for location and view. The darling cabin had a lovely view overlooking the bay (not immediately from the cabin, but from the front deck, look to the right and you’ve got a gorgeous scene). 'The stay was very good. We were in the area for a softball tournament and it fit our families needs very well. The goodies on the table were a nice touch and being able to use some of the refrigerator items helped. I would recommend this house to anybody staying in the area.'
