'I really enjoyed my stay.The staff was amazing,the rooms were very clean and breakfast was very good.I didn’t like the fact of no elevators,we had to carry luggage up the steps and walk outside in the dark path of trees with the animals running around.'

'Prachtige locatie. 50 minuten vanaf vliegveld Liberia met taxi.Hotel erg prijzig.. Ongeschikt indien slecht ter been. Veel klauter en klimwerk dan wel gebruik maken van transport middels buggies die permanent gasten naar hun kamers rijden. Hotel ligt vanaf zee bergopwaarts . Ligging wel vrij geïsoleerd, dus geen dorpjes in omgeving. Erg aangewezen op voorzieningen in hotel of het zeer kostbare Four Seasons hotel middels gratis shuttle transport op 10 minuten afstand. Prachtige golfbaan vlakbij...

'What an awesome experience! The very friendly and attentive staff really add up to this beautiful and relaxing place. Especially the area with volcanic heated hottubs, surrounded by the forest, is spectacular. The horse riding tour which ended ziplining on the compound is a must. Had a lot of fun with the guys, who where true professionals! We will come back for sure!'

'Erg goede optie als je in de omgeving van het nationale park rincon de la vieja wilt verblijven. Toegang tot de warmwaterbronnen van rio negro zijn gratis als je hier verblijft (ca €20 pp). Hotel ziet er netjes uit en alle noodzakelijke dingen aanwezig. Eten in het restaurant ook lekker. Tip: als je water mee wil nemen, koop dat dan op voorhand. 1,5l water kost bijna €6'

'The hotel was sparse but absolutely clean and comfortable. It was a short walk to restaurants, and staff gave me a great rundown of restaurant options. The morning coffee in the lobby was outstanding, and the garden was peaceful. A simple, lovely first night in Costa Rica.'

'Convenient close to the airport. 12 minute drive with our rental car. From the city it is also only a 5 minute drive. I would not recommend to walk. Breakfast was freshly made and consists out of typical Costa Rican hot dish, toast, cereals and fresh fruit. We did not eat at the restaurant in the evening. The room was convenient and clean. The bed was good. Relaxing at the end of the day you can do at the well maintained pool area. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. '

'There was no room when I arrived. Staff put an old mattress and used linens into a random room that looked like someone had been living there. Door didn’t lock. Then all staff left and locked me in. Left property due to safety and cleanliness concerns. Staff were nice but cannot recommend this place.'
