'Vlak voor onze aankomst kregen wij bericht dat de schoonmaakster die ochtend door een ongeluk niet kon komen. We hebben toen zelf schoongemaakt. De eigenaar heeft ons daarvoor 50 pounds terugbetaald. Vandaar de matige score bij "netheid" De woning is mooi groot en gelegen op de 1e etage met een moderne keuken en drie slaapkamers met prima bedden. 'Brand new, exceptionally clean pod with amazing pull down bed. Well stocked with tea facilities and toilet rolls.We booked the pod for our Son as our local accommodation wasnt big enough. He loved the pod for 4 nights. My only comment is that a door blind may be helpful.Stunning views and the campsite was clean and quiet. It didnt take away the tranquility of the village.Great shop and pub next door.We cant wait to return next year when the site will be even more blended into the countryside.'

'We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is a thoughtfully designed self-contained pod, built with natural materials, plenty of nice design touches, and careful thought put into maximizing a small footprint. This self-contained unit includes, a kitchenette, fire stove, and parking. Its position on a quiet hillside afford visitors with a gorgeous view of mists rolling down the hills to Loch Awe. 'Small, quiet and cosy well-equipped cottage, immediately on the sea front with private deck area and pebbled beach, with main beach roped off and sloping down to sea. View of sea from inside cottage is more limited, but side windows do give a reasonable view. I was there on my own and although the cottage is equipped for 2, it would probably feel cramped for more than a couple of days if more than 1 person was staying there. There are pleasant places for coffee and to eat within walking...

'You are staying on a boat on land however it was modernised with flushing toilets and hot water and heating. Hosts Lynette and Angus were lovely and could not do enough for us, loved our welcome treats and nice touches throughout the boat. Perfect for a couple with medium size dog.
