'Having read excellent reviews of Tayview Lodges, my wife and I arrived with great expectation and we were most certainly not disappointed. Our lodge, Little Lodge 2, was immaculate and in pristine condition. The spotlessly clean windows afforded uninterrupted views of the serene surroundings, the lodges being extremely well spaced out. 'We liked our stay at The Scott. The hotel does not look fancy outside, but that does not matter. The bed was good, the bathroom very clean with great shower products. No fridge available. Our room was facing the main Street what was nice. Parking was easy (although it seems that spaces are limited) and very convenient when travelling by car. Check in and check out easy. The hotel is well located and we can really recommend it. We would stay again. '

'We stayed for one night. The managing couple was doing their best to make that a perfect stay. In our opinion they tried too hard which influenced the atmosphere. For us it felt as if we were treated as small children. Lots of do's and dont's. The room was spotless. A bit small (despite the fact it was a superior room), as was the bathroom. '
