It took until 2 pm the next day for that to happen. I even let them know I would be arriving after 4pm check in so the had extra time to ready the unit. 'We enjoyed our stay. I like the fireplace and cozy beds. The only con comment was with the pool. It was definitely not heated. The hot tub was hot but you could not turn on any jets. The ph of the pool was tested while we were there but no test on the hot tub. I felt the hot tub needed attention. We always enjoy our stays at D Sands and will be back.'

'Het motel ademt de sfeer van de jaren 60. De kamer die wij hadden heeft uitzicht op het parkeerterrein en niet op zee. De kamer is donker met alleen een klein raam aan de voorkant. De kamer ruikt muf en de inrichting is oubollig met verouderde spullen. Er is echter wel veel. Je kunt er koken en er is bijvoorbeeld zelfs een blikopener.'

'The Starfish is very comfortable and cozy with an amazing view, and super close access to the beach! The host was very easy to work with and responsive. The only downside to the unit is that it’s the bottom floor. There were people in the unit above and their movements were quite pronounced so it wasn’t great for sleep. I used earplugs and white noise and that helped a lot! I would stay there again.'
