You'll have amazing views of the Pacific Ocean from this first floor condo, both inside and out! Feel free to explore the grassy area overlooking the Pacific from this cliff side rental home! Step inside Commodore 1 and you'll find a beautifully decorated rental that you'll want to frequent again and again! There's plenty of space to lay out and relax in the living room, and you'll have a gorgeous view of the water outside of the large bay windows, along with plenty of natural light during the summer months. You'll find the back door leading outside right off the living room, along with the dining room table and kitchen. The kitchen has everything you need to make a homemade meal or you can enjoy some take out at the dining room table. The first bedroom offers a king size bed while the second has a queen size bed, making this rental perfect for a visiting family of four to enjoy! The first bathroom offers a shower while the second has a shower and tub combo, good for bathing small children while here on your stay! While in the Depoe Bay Area, be sure to visit the shops along Highway 101 for food and souvenirs, and maybe even go out on a whale touring ship while you're here! They were working on the stairs for the floors above. It was noisy and we had to use the back door. Kitchen amenities could be better.

While there is a view it is sonewhat restricted by trees. We didnt love the road so close but we knew that it would be. We kept the east shade closed to minimize but there is a lot of traffic and people traffic at that corner. The condo is older and that shows, but it had all the necessary amenities and the beds were comfy. The kitchen had everything needed but the tv had some sound issies. We got it so we could use it. Overall it is comfortable and supplied with all you need.

Great stay in a beautiful location Good area for exploring both north and south. We had trouble locating the trash dumpster- not obvious and no sign. Kitchen needs larger pots for soup and pasta. Otherwise it was perfect!

We enjoyed the view and how clean the Condo was! There was a problem with the beds. The bed in the master room mattress was awful, to soft with a foam pad, that needed to be replaced, the other bedroom bed was comfortable, we were surprised there was not a mattress pad on mattress when we took the sheets off, seemed unsanitary. Kitchen was not well stocked.

Perfect location in town to everything. We could walk to places and had a view from this unit that allowed to see the coast and a whale. The layout of the unit was also ideal allowing quiet in the bedrooms for naps/sleeping and everyone else could be up and about in the living room and kitchen. Very homey. We loved it.

The unit has a spectacular view but appears to be undergoing some renovations. The floor looks new but the baseboards are either missing or very poorly installed and don’t match. The furniture has seen better days and is faded. You sink into the seats as padding has worn down. Some light switches are in unusual places, such as the one for light over the kitchen sink is behind the microwave and the main kitchen light switch is across the room. You have to walk into the guest bathroom and reach around a cabinet for the light switch. The metal blinds in the living room and dining room are also very heavy and awkward to raise (it takes two people) if you want to enjoy the view clearly. We did enjoy our time in Depoe Bay, however for what we paid for three nights after all the added charges — reservation charge (?), cleaning (standard), various taxes, service fee(?) ??? I expected something nicer. Sadly, this was our 53rd anniversary mini trip. We are very glad that we didn’t bring guests along. It would have been embarrassing.

We gave this place 3 stars because the view is stunning and it has a cozy living room with fireplace - perfect for winter. -Also the property management team were nice. However- some real issues to to fix. (I sent pictures to the property mgmt.) Broken lamp (only one in living room) Broken lamp shade Torn shower curtain Cracked molding or none at all Stains on dining chairs If these issues are addressed- we would stay again.

Depoe Bay on the cliff

We loved the location and the view!!! It was a great stay, but there are some things that could use attention. The corner of the rug near the dining room is curled up, a tripping hazard. Could just turn the rug so that corner is not in a main traffic area. It needs some placemats or coasters as I feared making a ring or stain on the lovely wood dining table or coffee table when setting down a glass of liquid, hot plate, or hot coffee. In the kitchen which was great, I would suggest some rubber or silicone spatulas, garlic as a spice that would be more needed than some of the ones there, and sharpen the knives that aren't serrated. Biggest complaint is that the explanations for remote and TV did not apply at all as not the same brand or anything, in fact the whole TV section of the notebook was useless. Some explanations of how to get channels if not streaming netflix or prime would be so helpful!!! The couch really needs replaced as it is worn and hard to get out of because the cushions have lost their support. Because it is so worn looking, it takes away from the beauty of the room and makes it appear old. Also, had we checked ahead of time, probably would have used the bed in the second bedroom instead of the master bedroom suite. The mattress in the master suite is so soft, makes noise when turning over, and you sink in it, I would really suggest its replacement. If these things were fixed, I'd book this for every trip to the coast and give it a 5 star rating.

GREAT condo! We LOVE staying here. This was our second stay for girls weekend trip. And we will be back soon for another one! Only problem we did have was fireplace would not shut off :( BUT that won't stop us from staying again! LOVE THIS CONDO! and its location is perfect!

Nice Stay

Overall a beautiful property and perfect place to stay. The only downfalls are the bed in the master is super noisy and seems to dip in a lot and the property seems to be going through updates? so trim is missing giving a shoddy appearance. Would def stay again though.
