« This was exactly what we were looking for in our 39 year anniversary getaway. The view from the cottage, sitting by the water and watching the sunrise and sunset was beautiful. « We loved this quiet property, right on the water. The house was clean and perfect for my mom and me. I didn’t use the kitchen but it was stocked with a lot of stuff. Towels for the beach were provided, along with chairs for sitting on the beach. There is a rinse off area in the back of the house, but to turn the water on you have to go in front of the house. I absolutely would return. »

« We enjoyed the pier most of all. The fishing was nice and we had some luck catching spot, croaker, mullet and a few skates. The week was very quiet and peaceful. We found the house to be very nice and comfortable. The only drawback was just having one bath. It needs a half bath or an outdoor shower. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and plan on coming back again. »

« This property is everything we hoped for. The view is stunning just down Carters Creek from the Tides Inn so the boat traffic is constant. The Crab Shack is so cute with breathtaking views out of every window. The host is great to work with and she made every bit of our stay a pleasure. « Wonderful property with excellent views of Mobjack Bay. Two ospreys nesting right off the end of the dock, and a green heron visiting a tree on the property were a treat. The only downside is that the 2 bedrooms are very unequal in terms of comfort and views. If you are 2 adult couples, one will have significantly inferior quarters. Otherwise excellent. And really good recommendations for local restaurants. »
