Motels in Delaware

'You get what you pay for here. We surprisingly enjoyed the breakfast, as there was a little more than we expected that was offered, but there were some flies and gnats flying around in our room on both nights, there was a lot of wear and tear on the walls and in the bathroom, and the beds were not made well on the second night, which was shocking. How does a hotel housekeeper not know how to make the beds?? This was the cheapest hotel we found around the DE beaches, but we will not be booking it...

'Staff were excellent, friendly, courteous. It’s a shame that they didn’t have the best resources to work with. (I had booked 2 rooms, 2 nights) Thin, rough textured towels, washcloths. Missing or incomplete parts in the bathroom and room. Old, cracked, stained furniture, floors, doors. Rugs looked “icky”, I had something on my feet all the time. We bought room deodorizer for our rooms to keep the urine smell that was coming from the outside walkway, ventilating in through the air...

'The place was clean, which was the most important. I wasn't impressed with the layout of the room, as I had to hang my dresses in the open on top of where I placed my suitcase. There was only one drawer for clothing. I could hear toilets flushing all night long and my bed squeaked to the point of annoyance. Breakfast was typical continental breakfast. Okay place to stay. Great deal on the room!'

'The place was very unsafe people hanging outside being loud after 9 pm at night, in the left corner of property people just hanging outside being loud taking up already limited parking spots, looked like people sleeping in there vehicles on the left corner of property, wasn’t a very lighted parking area and most of the front spots are all Hdcp parking. There were girls hanging in parking lot looking pretty shady girls of the night. I had enough around midnight packed my stuff and was leaving...
