« The staff’s customer service skills were exceptional, the room was clean and the ocean view was great. I booked for 1 night but decided to stay an extra night and was given the same room because the customers that booked my room decided they wanted a two queen bed room not the king room, so I got to keep the king room. The beach is a few feet away and there is a patio that faces the beach where you can sit and relax. I give Henlopen Hotel five stars plus and the bonus is it is clean...

« We’ve stayed here a few times and overall it’s great. My only issue is that this year, when we arrived the pool was closed due to a child who had a bowl movement in the pool. Roughly two hours later the pool reopened. My daughter swam in the pool and the next day came down with impetigo. That same day my daughter’s swimmy was stolen from the pool. When asking the staff, they didn’t know the protocols of the building or where things were like a lost and found. I wouldn’t say they weren’t helpful...

« Safeway grocery store nearby. McDonald’s as well but 2 drinks and 2 large fries over $16.00. 3 Christmas store close by and Tangier outlets. I pool is bye the street entrance off the main highway »

« L'hôtel n'a pas de piscine contrairement à ce qui est indiqué sur Hotels.com. Le 3e lit (canapé) n'était pas fait: on m'a demandé de le faire en me donnant les draps à la réception. Et pour couronner le tout, le robinet de la (minuscule) douche ne fonctionnait pas: il fallait attendre que le plombier passe à la quincaillerie pour en acheter un. Nous étions humides de retour de la plage avec une enfant de 4 ans: au bout de 45 minutes, la propriétaire m'a proposé un remboursement intégral que...

« It is in a great location, especially for children. but also only a short walk to the beach, Rooms and property were really clean, very walkable area and the pool was really nice, would stay there again. »

« Loved the amenities like the wine and cheese and breakfast. Being able to park at noon was a plus. This is a lovely comfortable hotel that makes a person feel pampered. They no longer have coffee makers in the room if you're used to that. Could use a grab bar in the shower, and more towel bars. »
