« This historic house is beautifully maintained and the rooms are very comfortable. We had the attic room which is extra large and has an amazing spa shower. The proprietors took great care to prepare a wonderful breakfast each morning. Loved our stay at 1899! »

« It was not very pleasant. The room was clean but not inviting. It was fairly drab and uncomfortable. There's not much natural light. The furniture feels cheap, a lot of pressed board type. The check-in process was difficult because the keyboard screen for entering information is very small, has low contrast, and is hard to read in bright sunlight. I think the concept was good and a few tweaks could make it much more pleasant. »

« Property met our needs. Was clean and toiletries available, as well as basic kitchen items. Had to contact property owners during our stay and they responded immediately. If we are back in the area we will consider this property again. »
