'Our recent visit to Veranda Resort Hotel was a last minute decision based on an unplanned trip to Roatan. However, we were lucky to find very affordable rates through Travelocity, which proved to be a steal. What we found was an amazing 5 star accomodations that began with our check-in, assisted by a young lady named Sam, followed up by dinner, and a personable staff, headed by the Manager Hector, who introduced us to several local drink options, and his staff. 'Overall a good stay. Ideal location right on the main beach. Some of the rooms are stuck way out back and quite a climb, the rest are ok. Most of the staff are pleasant, one wasn't. They are very flexible on check in time and will let you in the room if there is one available, no matter how early you show up, which is appreciated. Rooms are large and well appointed. Nice ahava brand toilettries.'

'I traveled with my two teenagers and they loved the lodge they liked the feeding the animals too. I appreciated the free breakfast and the quick walk to the beach. Celeste, the owner was amazing and Lorelei at the front office also! Super helpful and helped me with horseback riding for my daughter and charter fishing for my son. Cannot recommend West Bay Lodge enough! We are going back next year too!'
