'The location of the hotel is beautiful and is right on the beach. It isn’t a swimming beach though but beautiful nonetheless. There is no onsite dining options but there are lots of restaurants and other options nearby. The staff were friendly but the rooms were extremely outdated. 'The resort is amazing! Equal to the Grand Hyatt (I’ve stayed there twice) but at a more affordable price point, and the view — ocean + mountains from a private beach — is unmatched. I was initially concerned about the close proximity of the airport, but it caused zero noise or issues (plus, was very convenient). The central location made it easy to explore different parts of the island and the grounds were glorious. Believe everything you read in the best reviews — you’ll still be impressed!'

'The overall stay would rate a D- The beginning was the worst part. They seemed to not have us registered?? Not sure but they had us take a seat and then took over 20 minutes to check in and we got there at 5:30pm. Check in is at 4pm. Once we got our keys and went up and tv was blasting a kids show and doors were open. 'The door code we were given wasn’t correct, so we had to use the phone at the reception to call the after hours number (this was just after 4pm, so check in time, strange that check in time is not within normal office hours).
