B&B in Kust van Vancouver

'I was in town for an Alaskan cruise with my uncle. I had booked (and paid extra for) the bigger room with the sofa bed. I received instructions for after hours check-in, which had me assigned to room #1. When I showed up at 11:45pm and attempted to enter my room, it was locked. I was finally able to get the owner’s son’s attention at 12:10am only to be told that they had given my room to someone else. 'This is a difficult review to write as the host could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The accommodations were clean but run down and spartan at best. We booked this property as it was near to the airport and we had an early flight the following morning - this was really the only redeeming thing about the property and it’s location. Had the nightly rate been $100 or so I would be writing a completely different review but $460 for barely passable is immoral. Again, the host was...

'The host was very pleasant and quite thorough in explaining on the nuances of the property. Other guests were quiet although I was only there the one night while visiting family. The room and other amenities were clean. There are pretty gardens throughout the property as well. Note that there is only the bottom sheet and comforter on the bed and no top sheet, in addition although there are california shutters on the lower part of the window, but the 5 am sun lights the room up in the morning...

'Perfect location to walk to the beach or Stanley Park (15-20 minutes or so). The room was bright and roomy with an attached bathroom. There was no air conditioning in the room, and no screen in the window when opening to help cool the room off in 28 temperatures. The room was clean. We didn’t use any of the other available amenities.'

'Lou’s cabin was perfect for our family. It’s a rustic cabin with modern amenities. The back yard was very inviting and we were able to use the grill and play bocce ball. It was in town right next to an urban trail system, but still felt private. A bear walked right through the front yard one evening!'

'Weather wasn't stellar, but this suite was clean and very private. If you're an introvert who likes a bit of nature - this basement suite is a good fit. Nancy was easy to message. The cute little deer outside was a nice birthday morning surprise :D '
