The setting on the water was so peaceful and private, yet easy access for those of us traveling by public transportation from Manhattan and La Guardia airport. We had chairs lined up facing the water for a Celebration of Life Ceremony. The whole downstairs layout was just wonderful with indoor and outdoor areas for people to gather, sharing memories and grief. « We spent a long weekend in New Rochelle for a girls weekend. The house was very clean and had everything we needed it to have. beds were comfortable, the outdoor patio with gas fire pit was perfect for your relaxing nights. The host, Hamza was courteous and quick to respond to our queries. Would recommend ! »

« Stayed at Coastal Retreat for a weekend visit with son who attends Fairfield University, brought both sets of parents and teen daughter (ages ranging 73-16), plenty of room and able to enjoy a wonderful family dinner with son even in attendance. « The place was well decorated, organized and well appointed. The location was quiet and peaceful. The only challenge is parking, so wear your walking shoes! If you are over 5’10”, be warned: the ceilings are low. It has good lighting, good wifi, and big tv for the space. Owners were responsive and welcoming. Location requires a car or Uber, which are plentiful. It was a nice place to return to after a long day. »

« So the house is advertised as 4 bedroom but one of the rooms is an attic room with a trundle bed we didn’t really find suitable for any of our guests during the stay. Minimal furniture and some ant problems in the kitchen The in and out of the house was super nice plus the bathroom situation was great. Did the job sorta for what we needed (someone had to bring an air mattress though) but wouldn’t stay again »

« This place is much more spacious than it looks in the pictures. When you walk through the front door, you are immediately greeted with an amazing view of the Hudson River. The sunrise over the river is beautiful. We easily went back and forth over the bridge to Sleepy Hollow and there are great restaurants right near the house. Would definitely stay here again. »
