'Spectacular place. Beautiful and so much fun for the kids. The only bummer was the ocean water was contaminated and so we were not able to swim in the ocean. But the pools were amazing.'

'The 1906 Lodge was the cleanest, nicest, and most amazing stay I’ve had anywhere. The staff is amazing and make you feel they are there just for you! I will stay here everytime I visit San Diego. I wouldn’t change anything about the hotel. I recommend the 1906 Lodge to everyone. '

'We love staying here! The staff are friendly, rooms are clean, updated, and comfortable. We enjoy the lobby area and appreciate the amenities including: coffee/tea in the AM, spa and sauna, and BBQs! Great proximity to the beach and restaurants. We will stay here every trip!'

'Op een prima locatie op Coronado island vlak bij San Diego. Met de bus ben je zó in de stad of op het strand. Schoon en verzorgd. Auto voor de deur. WiFi is matig. '

'Great location! They have a few bicycles to go to the beach. The neighbourhood has some fine restaurants. You can walk to the ferry that brings you into the Gaslamp district. Unfortunately the price for this 3 minute cross-over is priced a 8 US$ single journey. '

'Beautiful setting. Great restaurants within walking distance. The facilities are very clean and well-maintained. The rooms are well-appointed, comfortable and clean. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Had a great time, definitely will be back!'

'Very nice outside patio and the convenience of having the beach as the backyard. Only bad thing I can say is how small the bathrooms are. The homeless and noises outside is bad but the hotel has no control of it. Other than that My family and I had a great time. '

'Loved the poolside including the seating. Didn't really appreciate being awakened by the midnight phone call from staff asking if we were doing karaoke (?). Would have been nice to have some salt and paper available, a flat oven pan and more than a six person set of silverware.'
