« This was the perfect little spot. There was easy access from main roads and down town Halifax. The place was clean, quiet, and the deck at the back was a great spot to sit and relax.The laundry area was a wonderful bonus. »

« The place was very clean, it had everything we needed. The area is nice and plenty of walking trails and lakes. The host was nice and accommodating. The building could use more spund proofing as we could hear toddlers and stomping, but other than that everything was perfect. I can't wait to come back again. »

« My husband and I (plus our dog) enjoyed 5 nights at this beautiful spot. Had really good food options close by and it was a great spot to visit Halifax and Peggy’s Cove. Nice deck to sit out on and enjoy the area. Super peaceful. We had a lovely time. »

« This is a great whole home property that offers a lot of easy trip options. There is a super cute small downtown that is a good spot for breakfast / shopping. There is a grocery store super close to the house and the kitchen is well equipped for any meal. The home has no AC but did provide fans. The back yard and deck are spacious but we spent most of our time traveling. This is a great location for families looking to maximize ability to hit Peggy’s Cove as well as down to Crescent Beach and...

« This was an ideal place for us to stay - short trip to visit family in the area. We like the convenience of a kutchen to make tea, coffee and quick snacks. Location was ideal and the host was lovely - so friendly. Suite had everything we needed, plus extra touches such as toiletries and tea and coffee were provided. »

« The house is in a beautiful position and has amazing views. It is a comfortable size and plenty of equipment and little welcome features. I booked the property when it was described as two double beds in two rooms and two bedrooms with a double bed in each .This was perfect for us. That was not the case and we had to double up with people we would not usually sleep with. Also the leaving time was moved to 10 am and l especially wanted a property with 11 am. « We had an amazing stay at this property! It's a beautiful home, with lots of space, perfect for our extended family. It's a great location, in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by beautiful nature, and only a short drive from downtown Halifax and many other top locations like Peggy's Cove, Lunenburg, etc. The home was impeccably clean, well maintained and beautifully furnished. « The neighborhood was nice. Overall it was clean, but could use a little more attention to detail in the bathrooms. The front steps look bad and need to be repainted, the stair railing on the top floor is loose and could be a concern for an accident. We had a nice stay. »

« Lovely 3 bedrooms. Has a shared kitchen. Hosts are lovely and very accommodating to any needs. Stayed with another couple. Each room has mini split so great when weather gets warmer. Not hard to find with maps and back deck is large and accommodating. »

« We were in town for a few short days to pick up our daughter from the university about 15-20 minutes away. It gave us a quiet respite after a long drive and a chance to refuel before the drive back to Ontario. Everything you need was here, the living room was a perfect place to gather and watch a movie and the pool table and record player were appreciated by everyone. Thanks for a great stay! »
